Daisy leads Baidu Ventures technology investments globally. Prior to joining Baidu Ventures, Daisy was China Partner, responsible for China investments at TA Associates, a growth equity fund that has raised $24 billion since inception. Previously, Daisy was with Goldman Sachs Investment Partners in Hong Kong where she led investments in Greater China.
Baidu Ventures was formed in 2016 with $200 million in its initial fund to invest mostly in artificial intelligence. The fund works independently from Baidu’s existing investment teams.
Daisy holds six U.S. patents in semiconductor chip design and has earned a Bachelor of Engineering from Tsinghua University, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
