Dr. Robert Xiao has been serving as CEO of Perfect World since March 2013. Beijing-based Perfect World is a Chinese powerhouse video game developer. It is publicly traded on the Shenzhen exchange and has a $6.3 billion market cap with ≈ 5,000 employees.
The company is also one of the power houses of premium TV productions in China, consistently ranked top five in the country by revenue. It has recently entered into a $500 million, 50 picture, 5-year co-financing deal with Universal Pictures Studios, and in 2018 three movies the partnership co-financed won three Oscar awards.
Dr. Robert Xiao received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Tsinghua University in 1989, and his Master’s and Ph.D. Degrees in Engineering at University of Southern California.
